The wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange clocked trades worth Rs 368.52 crore.
The 11.83 per cent 2003 was traded for Rs 140 crore at a weighted yield of 10.44 per cent.

At the medium term, the 10.85 per cent paper was traded for Rs 35 crore at a weighted yield of 9.90 per cent.
The 11.15 per cent 2002 was traded at a yield of 10.29 per cent for a sum of Rs 25 crore. In the T-bills segment, the 364-day T bill, maturing on 10 April 1998, was traded at a yield of 7.50 per cent. The total trades were worth Rs 35 crore. However,the volumes in T-bills will not improve until the overnight interest rates decline. But call rates are not expected to decline below 5 per cent because funds are locked up in short term debt instruments.
With the call money market ruling at higher levels, the volumes have been affected and are not showing signs of an upswing.
In the corporate debenture segment, the total traded volumes was a paltry Rs 73.32 lakh with the Reliance Petroleum zero per cent 2001 traded at a yield of 17.66 per cent for a sum of over Rs 52 lakh.
