13.50% Gilt Traded For Rs 37 Crore

The wholesale debt Market (WDM) at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) clocked a traded volume of Rs 254.77 crore.

The treasury bills segment contributed a volume of Rs 34 crore to the total volume.

The corporate debenture segment witnessed 306 trades with the volume touching Rs 2.49 crore.

The 13.50 per cent government loan maturing in 1998 was in demand and was traded for Rs 37 crore at the weighted yield of 12.70 per cent.

The 14.25 per cent non-SLR bonds of ICICI maturing in 1998 were traded for Rs 5 crore at the weighted yield of 14.22 per cent.

The certificate of deposit of the financial institution maturing on July 2 was traded for Rs 1 crore at the weighted yield average yield of 14.50 per cent.

A bulk of the trade was done for the 11.75 per cent government security maturing in 2001 at the weighted yield of 11.98 per cent for Rs 99.40.

The 10.85 per cent loan collected Rs 25 crore at the weighted yield of 11.97 per cent and at a price of Rs 96.95.

The 13.62 per cent government loan maturing in 1998 was traded for Rs 30.44 crore as the price ranging from Rs 100.45-100.55.
