Direct tax collection boom in the current fiscal has continued in September as well with revenue mop-up from corporate and income-tax amounting to Rs 9,000 crore till September 20.
A senior finance ministry official told Business Standard that direct tax collection in the month is expected to be around Rs 12,000 crore.
