The Congress will retain 14 of its 17 MPs of the dissolved Lok Sabha from Orissa on its candidates list. The pradesh election committee had recommended that tickets be given to 14 of the sitting MPs while the case of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao had been referred to the central election committee for decision.
