Net portfolio holdings by foreign institutional investors (FIIs) in India fell by $27.4 million during April, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) said on Tuesday. In March, net FII investments had risen by $183.2 million, Sebi data showed. In local currency terms, FII gross sales totalled Rs 1,392 crore and purchases Rs 1,284 crore, leaving a net outflow of Rs 108 crore. Cumulative FII investments in India stood at $9.256 billion on April 30 against $9.283 billion in March.
