Net profit at Clarient India has climbed 15 per cent to Rs 3.61 crore in the first quarter of 1999-2000. The company's net sales have increased 10 per cent in the same period to Rs 56.15 crore. The company's total expenditure during the quarter was Rs 51.05 crore up 9 per cent from the corresponding period last year. Gross profit is up 12 per cent to Rs 6.13 crore. The company's interest flow has gone up from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 11 lakh. Depreication costs are up 8 per cent to Rs 0.57 crore. The company has made a tax provision of Rs 1.95 crore during the year. em
