Groundnut oil firmed up by Re 1 to Rs 345 per 10 kg at the oil and oilseeds market in Turbhe in Navi Mumbai yesterday.
Kardi oil stayed steady at the previous level of Rs 332, while coconut oil was traded at Rs 550 per 10 kg.

Sugar: A firm trend was witnessed at the wholesale sugar market yesterday.
While sugar S-30 ruled easy-to-steady at Rs 1,486-1,505 a quintal, the M-30 grade sugar firmed up to Rs 1,501-1,537.
Non-ferrous metals: Virgin metals ruled almost steady at the non-ferrous market yesterday. Copper wire bars were quoted at Rs 128.50, zinc slabs at Rs 84. Llead ingots traded at
Rs 41.50, aluminium ingots at Rs 81, tin at Rs 310 and nickel at Rs 323 a kg.
In the scraps section of the Bombay Metal Exchange, copper heavy scraps were nominally quoted at Rs 119.
Meanwhile copper utensils were traded at Rs 110, brass scraps at Rs 96 brass sheet cuttings at Rs 102, and aluminium utensils were quoted at Rs 61.
Bullion: Both silver and gold prices suffered a fresh setback at the bullion market yesterday in the wake of heavy stockists selling due to increased arrivals and in the absence of fresh buying.
Silver (.999 fineness) fell by Rs 55 to Rs 7,265 due to selling pressure and lack of industrial support.
Raw silver and tenderable silver also dipped from Rs 7,221 and Rs 7,325 to Rs 7,165 and Rs 7270 respectively.
Standard gold softened further by Rs 25 to Rs 4,490 and 22-carat gold was nominally quoted lower at Rs 4,155 from Rs 4175 previously.
Ten-tola gold bar (.999 purity) dropped by Rs 300 to Rs 52,700.
