Timex Perpetual Calendar Collection

Timex has unveiled its internationally acclaimed Perpetual Calendar Collection, the special feature of which is that the watch automatically maintains the correct date, irrespective of leap years and the number of days in the month.

While an ordinary quartz analog watch with date relies on a direct mechanical connection between the time and date functions, the Perpetual Calendar separates the time from the date, relying on a separate system for each function.

If the user manually moves the time past midnight, a signal is sent to the system controlling the date, adjusting it accordingly.

The collection is available in nine styles, priced between Rs 2,995 and Rs 4,495. It has a built-in Indiglo night-light feature and all the models are water-resistant to either 50 or 100 metres.
