Canbank Mutual Fund has registered a 10.3 per cent growth in net assets to Rs 1,825.10 crore for the six months ended September 30, 1999.
The fund's total corpus, however, declined 17.19 per cent to Rs 1,227.87 crore. It has made half-yearly income distribution for its five mutual fund schemes.
The fund made income distribution of 6 per cent in Canpremium, 12.5 per cent in Canpep 93, 20 per cent in Candouble, 6.25 per cent in fixed income scheme Cancigo and 6.125 per cent in Cangilt. The income distribution was made possible, according to a press release, by a major restructuring of all schemes.
Of the seven growth schemes, five have outperformed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex and three have outperformed the CNX 500. Of the open ended schemes, Canpep 93 have shown a 42.60 per cent increase in net assets value during the six months ended September 1999.
