Hughes Software Systems Ltd has successfully closed the first-ever book-built equity issue at a price of Rs 630 per share. The book-building exercise attracted a demand for over 97.5 million shares translating into an aggregate demand of Rs 6,000 crore making it one of the largest subscriptions to an offer in Indian IPO history. The 10 per cent fixed price public offer comprising 437,500 shares will open for subscription from October 7 to October 12 and will be offered at the discovered price of Rs 630.
