Addressing a bankers' meet on Wednesday, IIB chief executive officer R H Sarma said, "To enable financial decision-making, we are developing a software, which will be the training tool."

The development of the portal will be done through collaboration with suitable strategic partners. It will help in online banking exams, recourse to libraries, exchanging experiences, organising online seminars.

To encourage "thinking bankers", Sarma said that micro-level research will be an important tool in the thinking ability of bankers.
