The government has set up a committee to redraw the standard thruput and recommend standard product pattern for Indian Oil Corporation's refineries at Haldia, Barauni and Digboi for 1996-97 and 1997-98.
According to an official order issued on Friday, the exercise will be undertaken taking into account commissioning of a new crude distillation unit at Haldia in March 1997, a catalytic reformer unit at Barauni in April 1997, and another catalytic reformer unit at Digboi in August 1997.
The seven-member committee, headed by K P Shahi, adviser (refinery) in the ministry for petroleum and natural gas, will also examine the existing standard fuel and loss against the actual fuel and loss
