Among those eagerly awaiting The Queens visit to India later this month is Simon J Scraff, chairman of the British Business Group (BBG), an association of business leaders, corporate houses and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) working in India. It provides him the opportune moment to liaise joint ventures between small and medium corporates keen on business involvements in the country.

Many of the potential partners are at advanced stages of negotiations. We are trying to get as many of them as possible to sign the joint venture agreement during the Queens visit itself, he says.

Part of Scraffs efforts translate into a special stall that BBG is putting up at the exhibition which the Indo-British Partnership Initiative is co-hosting with the CII to coincide with the royal state visit.
