CleverTap has appointed Almitra Karnik as head of marketing and global growth

CleverTap, the platform for behavioural analytics and user engagement, has appointed Almitra Karnik as head of marketing and global growth. Karnik has led product marketing at Twilio, and most recently built Splunk’s global brand recognition. She brings experience in cross-market growth development and has served as marketing manager for Fortune 500 companies like Cisco Systems and EMC Corporation.
 
Mobile shift
 
Reliance Communications chief executive officer Vinod Sawhny has joined doorstep mobile repair company Yaantra as its Senior Advisor. A consumer retail and telecom veteran, Sawhny led senior roles across Bharti Retail, Bharti Airtel, Spice Communications, and Godrej GE Appliances Ltd. He will help Yaantra develop strategy, build its organisation and develop sourcing and distribution strategy.

 

Growth strategist
 
Indifi Technologies has appointed Maninder Juneja as a strategic advisor. Juneja will be involved in the overall growth strategy of Indifi, by leveraging his 25 years of work experience in banking and finance industry. Indifi is focused on building depth in segments of its operation, as well as exploring new segments and data streams that are becoming relevant to credit decisions. In his previous role, Juneja was managing director at True North Managers LLP, and prior to that he was associated with ICICI Bank.

Percept Media, the media planning, evaluation and buying division of Percept Limited, has appointed Danny Fernandes as group head, digital, for its Mumbai branch. Fernandes will be responsible for spearheading the digital marketing efforts of the company and adding value by offering digital solutions and creating online buzz across the market. Fernandes has experience of over eight years in the digital marketing and technology domain. In the past he worked as consultant for diverse organisations including Star Creations, Plant Genome Sciences, Power Weave Software Services, Puretech Internet, Netramind Technologies and Sytech Engineering.
