Speculatives recovered their overnight losses and even showed smart gains in a fairly good activity on the Bombay Stock Exchange yesterday on fresh shortcovering and hectic buying from upcountry operators as well as sizeable purchases by domestic financial institutions.
While operators have done squaring up business at the last trading session of the current settlement, Calcutta and Delhi players picked up almost all scrips from the forward group.
