Singapore provides the best quality of life in Asia for expatriates and South Korea the worst, according to an annual survey by the Hong-Kong based Political & Economic Risk Consultancy. The biggest jump in rankings was registered by Taiwan, which moved to third place from seventh last year. Singapore beat out last years winner Malaysia as respondents rated the island states combination of financial rewards, excellent infrastructure, safety, cleanliness and general efficiency the best in the region.
