Moulding into meaning: Bhavna Kakar presents "Everything Ends and Everything Matters", an Exhibition of Artworks by Anindita Dutta.Her sculptures and performances are mirror images of her restless energy as she creates "living sculptures" with her bare hands from the primeval material that connotes our genesis. She slathers every surface that she interacts with— from clothes, objects and living beings — with layers of clay that build up through the duration of her performance.

Reflections on Death: A new show ‘Memento Mori’ will include works by Clare Arni, Suruchi Choksi, Samit Das, Payal Kapadia, Soghra Khurasani, Saju Kunhan, Zishaan Akbar Latif, Tanmoy Samanta, Katsushi Goto and Vishwa Shroff. The exhibition touches upon the mortality, brevity and fragility of human life. Each of the artists studies the phenomenon of death in personal and collective contexts.

Drum and Beat: Rudimental, a UK based drum and beat group will perform in the city as part of the Vh1 Supersonic Club Nights. The group, whose music combines trumpet and guitar solos with electronic beats, saw its album Home debut at number 1 in the UK and has won several awards and nominations.

Chamber music: The SOI Chamber Ensemble, which includes resident members of the Symphony Orchestra of India, will be performing alongside Hungarian pianist Balasz Fulei. Fulei had previously played in India with the Kodaly Quartet. The show will be led by newly-appointed resident conductor for the SOI, Piotr Borkowski.

The artist, who is studying painting at the College of Fine Arts, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, depicts a surrealistic world both in terms of his vision and colour. The exhibition is titled ‘Inhuman’.
