The wholesale debt market (WDM) at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) clocked a volume of Rs 385.87 crore, reporting 53 trades.
The day saw repo trades worth Rs 155 crore, commercial paper trades worth Rs 25 crore and trading at the treasury bill segment was for Rs 16 crore.

The 11.55 per cent government loan maturing in 2001 was traded for Rs 115 crore which included two trades in the repo segment worth Rs 40 crore.
The repo deal was done for a term of 12 days and at the rate of 7.1 per cent and 7.2 per cent, respectively. The same paper also witnessed 13 trades worth Rs 75 crore at a weighted average yield of 11.44 per cent, at a low of Rs 100.13 and a high of Rs 100.20.
The 12.5 per cent gilt maturing in 2004 was traded for Rs 30 crore which includes a repo deal for Rs 10 crore.
The deal was done for a term of 12 days and at the rate of 7.l05 per cent, while the paper was traded at a weighted average yield of 11.86 per cent.
The 12.08 per cent government loan maturing in 2008 saw a bulk repo trade for Rs 25 crore at the rate of 6.90 per cent and for a term of 14 days.
