Refinery stocks were in the limelight in erratic movements that trapped the Sensex in an extremely narrow range of around 65 points leading to a downslide by 6.21 points on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday on continuous buying interest from speculators.
Reflecting the trend, the BSE Sensex opened weak at 3981.31 points and later fluctuated in a narrow range of 4046.01-3980.20 points before closing at 4022.50 points as against Wednesday
