The Nokia 7710 widescreen multimedia smart phone with pen input and handwriting recognition is now available in India. The N7710 has 640 x 320 pixel screen and a 65,536-colour display.
 
It includes a full Internet browser, an integrated music player with stereo audio, an extensive set of video features, mega pixel camera with 2-x digital zoom and an FM radio.
 
With a wide and high-quality touch screen, the Nokia 7710 aims at providing a balance between personal productivity and entertainment on the go.
 
It provides users their own mobile office functionalities with applications such as streaming and recording, an extensive calendar, contact lists, presentation viewers and word and sheet converter.
 
It can store information and images up to 90 MB+ 128 MB with the inbox MMC card
 
The connectivity options for the Nokia 7710 include a Pop Port(TM) connector with USB and Bluetooth wireless technology for easy data transfer and PC synchronisation. This smart phone runs on Symbian OS.
 
HP ep9012 Instant Cinema Digital Projector

Hewlett Packard has extended its consumer electronics portfolio by launching India's first Instant Home Cinema Digital Projector.
 
The HP ep9012 Instant Cinema Digital Projector is a DLP (Digital Light Processing) widescreen digital projector that comes with an integrated DVD player and a 2.1 stereo/subwoofer sound system that delivers the aural and visual impact of a big-screen movie.
 
The projector has other user-friendly details like the front-loading lamp for easy lamp replacement and the integrated handle for easy mobility. It facilitates multiple-user environments by supporting VCD, SVCD, CD-R, CD-RW, CD-audio and MP3 audio playback.
 
It can also display jpeg digital image files as a slideshow, straight off the disc. The projector is equipped with a six-segment colour wheel providing high-quality brightness for deep, saturated colours.
 
JetAudio iAudio G3 (1 GB)
 
Apple's recently announced Ipod Shuffle has competition. JetAudio's iAudio G3 (priced between $149-249) manages to fit as much as 1GB of music and voice recordings into a minuscule, lightweight package.
 
Only around 2.5 by 1.8 by 0.7 inches and less than two ounces, the G3 has a large and informative four-line backlit display and a navigational joystick on its face, as well as buttons on the top that let you switch among operational modes.
 
The G3 plays MP3, WMA, protected WMA, WAV, and OGG files and features a five-band equaliser as well as JetAudio's well-known BBE, Mach3Bass, MP Enhance, 3D Surround, and Pan effects. The device also includes an alarm clock.
 
In terms of accessories, it includes a case with a belt clip, a neck strap, and a 1/8-inch-to-1/8-inch cable for recording directly from sources such as a tape deck or a record player.
