In today’s match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 (CWC 19), West Indies cricket team defeated Afghanistan cricket team by 23 runs in their last league match of the tournament at Headingley in Leeds. West Indies put 311-run target aided by fifties by Lewis, Hope and Pooran. Afghanistan's reply was equally aggressive at the start as Rahmat Shah and Ikram Ali Khil put 132-run stand for the second wicket but their gaffes after three wickets cost them dearly and they failed to recover from that state. For Windies, Carlos Brathwaite picked four wickets, while Kemar Roach scalped three wickets.
