In the pink ball Test, England captain Joe Root won the toss and elected to bat first against India at Motera Stadium, now known as Narendra Modi Stadium, in Ahmedabad. A win will take Team India one step closer to a spot in the final of the ICC World Test Championship at the hallowed Lord’s cricket ground.
