England captain Joe Root won the toss and elected to bat first in the fourth and final Test as Indian cricket team eyeing a spot in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final, at the Narendra Modi Stadium, popularly known as Motera Stadium, in Ahmedabad on Thursday. India has taken an unassailable 2-1 lead in the four-match Test series against England. India needs to win the final Test match to be the second finalist in the World Test Championship.
