Hockey World Cup 2023 Quarterfinals Highlights: Germany beat England with a great comeback after being 0-2 down for 56 minutes. They won the shoot-out 4-3. In second game, Netherlands beat Korea 5-1
It was yet another evening of exciting hockey at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. Germany, after being 0-2 down for the first 56 minutes of the game, came back brilliantly to make it 2-2 at the end of the match and then beat England 4-3 in Shoot-Out to march to the semi-final.
In the second game of the evening, the Netherlands turned out to be too good for the Koreans who had upset Argentina in their last game. The Dutch won 5-1 to make it to yet another semi-final of a World Cup. The four semi-finalists of the tournament as predicted beforehand by many pundits are Australia, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
