The England vs Pakistan second test has ended in a draw mostly due to inclement weather conditions as only 134 overs were bowled in five days of play at The Ageas Bowl, Southampton on Monday. With this both the teams got 13 points each in ICC World Test championship points table. England is on 3rd position with 279 points while Pakistan at 5th spot. The third and final Test will begin from August 21. England leads the three-match-series 1-0.

Earlier, The umpires inspected the pitch and outfield at the Rose Bowl at the scheduled start of play of 3:30 pm IST (11 am local). And were due to make another inspection an hour later. Rain is forecast for later.

Rain washed out all of the third day and most of the fourth day, while time was lost during the first two days because of wet weather and bad light.
