Chasing 208 runs, David Warner, who was returning to ODIs after completing his ball-tampering ban, played with composure and helped Australia reach the target without much struggle
In match 4 of ICC cricket world cup 2019 (CWC 2019), Aaron Finch’s Australia cricket team defeated Gulbadin Naib-led Afghanistan cricket team at the Bristol County cricket ground. Batting first Afghainstan put up 208-run target for Australia with the help of Najibullah Zadran's 51, Rahmat Shah's 43 runs and Rashid Khan's cameo.

For Australia, Aaron Finch looked to settle it early with a quickfire 66 off 49 balls but David Warner, who was seeking redemption on the biggest stage at the re-launch his one-day international (ODI) career, took his own sweet time to take his team to victory with 89 runs off 114 balls. Warner played different as he relied mostly on singles and doubles to build his inning. Steve Smith also got the chance to bat after Usman Khawaja was out and he accompanied Warner to take the scoreboard ahead at their own pace.
Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi did not have much impact during Afghansitan's bowling as they did not have a big total to defend.However, Afghanistan seemers still performed well under pressure, especially Hamid Hassan (6-2-15-0) who surprised Aussies with his pace and bounce.
