India vs New Zealand Live Score, Hockey World Cup: Samsher Singh misses and India are out
Shoot-out
IND 4-5 NZ
It came down to the ninth shot as India and New Zealand were tied 4-4 after the first eight shots in the shoot-out. Sam Lane scored for the Kiwis as he reversed his mistake from the first round of shots. However, Samsher Singh of India was unable to reverse his mistake from the first round of shots and missed two in two. In sudden death, if you miss a shot, you are gone, especially if the team taking the penalty before you have scored.
So India’s dreams of a World Cup medal have dashed down again and it would now have to wait at least three more years to try and get a Hockey World Cup medal.

India and its bad habit of conceding in the last few minutes continue as they concede yet another one in the fourth quarter. They look tremendously lost in the final quarter.
Nilam Sanjeev Xess got close to Child with the ball in the air and the Kiwis got a penalty corner. The ball wasn’t really trapped well by the Kiwi Ken Russell but Amith Rohidas, the first rusher gave the ball to Child who hit for the goal and Sean Finlday at the near corner trapped and pushed the ball past the Indian goalkeeper to get the equaliser for the Kwis

India vs New Zealand Live Score, Crossover: How will India approach the last quarter?
IND 3-2 NZ
4th Quarter
12 Minutes to go
With 12 minutes to go, it is going to be a very difficult situation to deal with for the hosts India who are currently ahead 3-2 and have been defending continuously for the first three-minute sin the last quarter. The Indians need to be in charge and not sit back indefinitely otherwise the opposition team will get back in the game eventually as they got a penalty corner as I type.
