IND vs SL 1st T20I Live Score: Ishan Kishan's dynamic knock of 89 helped India beat Sri Lanka by a handsome margin of 62 runs to lead the three-match T20I series by 1-0. With this win, India now also have stretched their consecutive wins run to 10 matches and are only two wins away from joining Afghanistan as the team with the most consecutive wins in T20Is amongst Test Playing nations. 

Along with Iyer, Shreyas Iyer and skipper Rohit Sharma did well too as they scored 44 and 57* each to get India to a very competitive score of 199 in the 20 overs. 

Sri Lanka on the other end never looked in the game after winning the toss and deciding to bowl first. Even in the chase, they lost a wicket in the very first ball and apart from Charith Asankala no other Lankan batter was able to get going. Asalnaka top-scored with 53*

The two teams will now face each other in the second T20I on February 26 at Dharamshala

Ishan says, "I got to learn a lot from the West Indies series and I have changed my intent now I am working more on seeing the ball and hitting the ball and would want to play like that going forward."
