From 44-2 in the 6th over to 80-2 at the end of the 10th, India were struggling big time. However, the knocks of 74* from Shreyas Iyer, 39 off 25 balls from Sanju Samson and 45 off just 18 balls from Jadeja made sure that the game was finished in just 17.1 overs.

With this win, India now have won 11 T20Is on a trot and need just one more win to equal Afghanistan's record of most consecutive T20I wins by a Test-playing nation.

10:26 PM

IND vs SL | 2nd T20I Live Score Updates | IND 186-3 | Over 17.1- India register an emphatic win

10:24 PM

IND vs SL | 2nd T20I Live Score Updates | IND 182-3 | Over 17- India need two more runs

India are here and they are winning it easy here. The biggest mistake from Sri Lanka has been their bad fielding and the internet to not attack from the start

Seven runs come from the 17th over and we will have to go to the 18th

10:19 PM

IND vs SL | 2nd T20I Live Score Updates | IND 175-3 | Over 16- Poor fielding from Sri Lanka

Dushmantha Chameera is back into the attack and a midfield converts a single into a double

And a drop once again !! Sri Lanka have just gifted the match here as this was an easy chance and Asalanka should have taken this. Now it has gone for a six as well. This is pathetic from Sri Lanka

Four!! India look in a hurry now as the short ball has been hit for four. Only 19 runs are needed now

Four!! Again. And that was an action replay as it was short and pulled away at the same place for four runs

And four more India are just running away now as this has gone for yet another four

21 runs come from this over as India now need just nine more to win from four overs

10:13 PM

IND vs SL | 2nd T20I Live Score Updates | IND 152-3 | Over 15- 17 from the over

And the nine runs that have come off the first ball of the over that take the equation down to almost run a ball now for India

And this over is now turning into a game-changer for India

And with this double, Shreyas Iyer now moves to his highest T20I score as he goes past 67

The fielding from Sri Lanka has been very sloppy and doubt there is dew, but still has been poor. 17 runs come from this over and India still need 32 off just 30 balls

10:08 PM

IND vs SL | 2nd T20I Live Score Updates | IND 146-3 | Over 15th-Free hit

Four!! Binura Fernando comes into the attack and offers room to Ravindra Jadeja and he has done the biggest crime in T20 of bowling a no ball. So now that would be a free hit

What can Binura bowl now? Can he come back?

No he can not as an attempted yorker by him has been driven straight for four runs by Jadeja once again

10:05 PM

IND vs SL | 2nd T20I Live Score Updates | IND 136-3 | Over 14

Four!! What a shot. What an exquisite drive this is from Ravindra Jadeja who has come into bowl

Appeal and the umpire says no for a caught-behind appeal. 7 runs have already come from the over and with a single, India get eight from it

10:01 PM

IND vs SL | 2nd T20I Live Score Updates | IND 128-3 | Over 13- Sanju gone, Binura takes a blinder

Sanju Samson has made this over his own as he has 22 runs in this over and has got one wide as well. Three sixes and a four and that is a blinder taken by Feranndno as Sanju's scintillating knock is being stopped by a 6 foot 6-inch giant's one-handed jumping catch in the slips. But Sanju Samson has done his job by making 39 off just 25 balls. India now need only 56 from the last seven overs.

9:57 PM

Six! Now that's a great way to start the over from Shreyas Iyer and so much from the Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanka

100 comes up for India here as Shreyas iyer is really making a case for himself to be included in the all string Indian playing 11 when all players are available

Another huge wide from Shanka and Sri Lanka are now falling behind

14 comes from the over and it is once again poor fielding from Sri Lanka . Now India need only 79 from 8 overs

9:41 PM

IND vs SL | 2nd T20I Live Score Updates | IND 80-2 | Over 10- India need 104 in 60 balls

Dropped!! Had that been taken, it would have been a greatnight for the Sri Lankan captain Dsun Shanka as he comes into bowl. The ball goes for four runs though

Short again from Shanka as Sanju Samson plays this for a single

A quick leg bye to finish the over for Shanka as India finish half their overs with 80 on the board
