Changes in Playing 11 of India and Zimbabwe
India have made just one change to their playing 11 and it is Rishabh Pant who has come in place of Dinesh Karthik who has been off-colour throughout the tournament so far. Rohit Sharma said that since Pant was the only player not to get a game even in the practice matches, therefore he tried to get him a game before the all-important semis.
Zimbabwe's coach Dave Haughton and Craig Ervine have utilised their brains and brought in a left-arm orthodox spinner Wellington Masakadza into the playing 11. Indian batters have generally struggled against left-arm pace and spin as well. There was another change as Milton Shumba has been replaced by Tony Munyonga to give the young man a chance on the big stage.
