Live | IND W vs NZ W | CWC 2022: What's ahead for India?

The Indian team has a lot to think of now as once again its batting has disappointed especially the players at the top in Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma. Yastika Bhatia too failed to utilise on the start after utilising the deliveries. Mithali Raj is always coming under pressure and is failing to make any use of her game, getting out playing shots that shouldn't have been played.

Harmanpreet Kaur's form today was a great respite for the Indian team and the women in blue would want their vice-captain to continue and batters to find from when they take on West Indies Women on March 12, 2022.

With this, we at BS Web also take your leave from the coverage of this India Women vs New Zealand Women match and will see you on March 12 for the India Women vs West Indies match at the ICC Women's World Cup 2022.

Even with Katy Martin and Satterthwaite in the middle and New Zealand at 224-4 at the end of the 42nd over, 280 looked like a certainty. But very tight bowling from India meant that they got five wickets in the last eight overs and conceded only 36 runs.

After Harmanpreet Kaur's departure, Jhulan Goswami is now entertaining as she has already made 15 off 12 balls and one catch of her has been dropped already, that to a dolly by Jess Jansen.
