Earlier in the evening, India scored 208-6 courtesy of brilliant half centuries 70* (30) by Hardik Pandya and 55 (35) by KL Rahul.

Cameron Green who scored a brilliant 60 off just 30 balls, hitting eight fours and pour sixes, was adjudged player of the match for providing the much-needed intent to the Aussie chase. Green also picked one wicket in his three overs.
