It all went bad for West Indies right from the start of their second innings, Umesh Yadav got Brathwaite on the second ball of the innings and then it all fell too soon, Ashwin got Powell out in the fourth over. It was Kuldeep Yadav who soon got rid of Hetmyer in the 13th over, and then Jadeja got Shai Hope in the 14th over. West Indies were 76/6, leading by 20 runs at Tea.

EARLIER

India were all out for 367 runs in their first innings as Jason Holder and Shannon Gabriel picked quick wickets on the third day of the second Test match against West Indies. India now lead by 56 runs.

After a favourable second day, India started their campaign with Rahane and Pant eyeing their centuries but West Indies had some other plans. First, Holder surprised Rahane with his bounce and pace and the batsman ended up goiving a catch at slips, Jadeja replaced Raahane but he lasted for a few minutes as Holder trapped him for LBW just two balls after.

Pant and Ashwin were on the crease and then Gabriel it was to dismissed Pant on 92, Hetmyer took a brilliant catch at cover.
Three quick wickets just minutes after the start of the day provided filip to West indies, at one point it looked that India would cruise to massive score but they were on backfoot yet again,

Holder got his 5-wicket hall after dismissing Kuldeep Yadav, while Gabriel also picked 3 wickets to keep West Indies in clear fight against India. Ashwin showed some fight in the lower order but he did not find much company as wickets kept falling from the other end. Kuldeep and Umesh departed on meagre scores and then it was Ashwin who fell at last off Gabriel's delivery. Overall, West Indies have taken long strides since day 2 and it remains to be seen how their batsmen perform now, a lot depends on that for Windies.
