Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by five wickets. Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav scored 53 each to guide MI home with two balls to spare

In Match 27 of the Indian Premier League 2020 (IPL 2020), Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Suryakumar yadav was star for Mumbai as he scored 32-ball 53 and kept the required runrate in check while chasing. Quinton de Kock also hit fifty and scored quick runs in powerplay after Rohit Sharma's early dismissal.

Earlier, MI bolwers restricted Delhi Capitals (DC) to 162/4 wickets in 20 overs. DC opener Shikhar Dhawan played through the innings but managed to score only 69 runs in 52 balls as Jasprit Bumrah and Krunal Pandya both ended with economies of 6.5 in their four overs. If Mumbai manages to win today, it will pip Delhi to the first spot on IPL 2020 points table.

Off the four wickets that fell, two were picked up by Krunal while Trent Boult got one. Boult provided the breakthrough in the form of Prithvi Shaw off the third ball of the match.
