In the final over, 17 runs were needed, but Dwaine Pretorious got out of the very first ball, and on the second ball, only a single was taken by Bravo to give Dhoni only four balls to win the game and he did it. With this loss at the DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai Indians have now lost their seventh consecutive match this season and are yet to open their account. 

Earlier in the evening, thanks to a half-century by Tilak Varma, Mumbai Indians managed to get to 155 in their 20 overs even as all the big stars failed miserably once again for the team from the west coast.
