SRH vs RR Highlights: Rajasthan Royals have started their Indian Premier League 2022 campaign in a great manner, beating the Sunrisers Hyderabad by a huge margin of 61 runs at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Royals skipper Sanju Samson was the star with the bat with his 55 and then Yuzvendra Chahal and Prasidh Krishna shone with the ball from the team in Pink and Blue.

Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson was awarded Player of the Match for his brilliant 55 which came off just 27 balls at a strike rate of more than 200. Along with the batting, he was also spot on with his bowling changes

Chasing a target of 211, Sunrisers goit to the worst possible start possible as they lost their first three wickets for only 9 runs on the board and finished the Powerplay at 14/3, their worst powerplay ever in the history of IPL. Soon, they were reduced to 37-5 and then 78-6 in the 16th over. But then Washington Sundar joined Aiden Markram and the two hit 71 runs in the last 26 balls to take the team to 149-7 at the end of the 20th over. Sundar scored 40 off 14 balls while Markram remained unbeaten on 57 off 41 balls. Yuzvendra Chahal picked three wickets while Prasidh Krishna got 2-16 in his four overs. 

Earlier in the evening, after winning the toss and deciding to bowl first, the Hyderabad team was unlucky as Jos Buttler was removed in the very first over but on a no-ball from Bhuvneshwar Kumar. They bowled a total of four no-balls in the inning and the RR batters capitalised on it, especially Buttler (35), Devdutt Padikkal (41), Samson (55) and Hetmyer (35) to get their team to a huge total of 210/6 in 20 overs.
