NZ vs PAK T20 World Cup Semi-Final Highlights Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan scored a fifty each as the men in green outplayed the Kiwis in all departments to beat them by 7 wickets. It was not an easy target at all, given that the pitch was a sluggish one and New Zealand had two quality spinners in Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner. However, the opening pair of Babar and Rizwan added 105 for the first wicket and then the Pakistanis didn't lose wickets in a bunch and thus sailed through in 19.1 overs and achieved the target of 153 easily. They now enter the final and await the winner of the India-England clash.
Earlier in the evening, New Zealand crossed the 150 mark on this not-so-easy wicket to bat at the SCG. Daryl Mitchell was the sheet anchor of the innings as he made sure that the run of play did not slow down too much. He has scored 53 off 35 balls, and along with skipper Williamson put in a much-needed partnership of 68 runs. Then again, he added 35 with Jimmy Neesham off just 22 balls to get to 152 eventually.
For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi picked 2/24 while Muhammad Nawaz picked 1/12 as he could only bowl two overs of his four-over quota.
