And after gruelling 64 days and 136 games, Dabang Delhi have finally been crowned the champions of Pro Kabaddi League 2021-22. They defeated three times champions Patna Pirates by a solitary point to win the PKL final 37-36. Naveen Kumar was declared the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of Season 8 of PKL for his brilliant performance throughout the league. In just 17 games he got 217 raid points.

Patna had got the lead back down to one point with Shadlou getting back to back points in his raid in the defence he gave one p[point as almost four raids were made in the last 30 seconds and as Monu took one point from the final raid for Patna with 12 seconds remaining, all Patna were left with was to not allow Dabang Delhi to cross the baulk line and he did and got the victory for his team.
