PKL 2022 Highlights: Patna get first win, beat table toppers Dabang Delhi

Pro Kabaddi League 2022 Highlights: Patna Pirates registered their first win beating Delhi 37-33. U Mumba beat Haryana Steelers 32-31 in the first game while Puneri Paltan beat Bengal Warriors 27-25.

On the first triple header day in the Pro Kabaddi League 2022 this week, all the matches were held in Bengaluru at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, which has so far witnessed 32 games since the start of season nine on October 07. Tonight, six very strong teams, with very different trajectories in the league so far were up against each other. The excitement and results came out to be very interesting as well. 

Dabang Delhi KC vs Patna Pirates: Finally a victory for Patna

The team, at the bottom of the table, trailing with not even a single win in their hand, have done what no other team had been able to, defeat the table toppers Dabang Delhi. Patna Pirates finally have a win as they beat their opponents 37-33 and get off the bottom of the table. They now have 10 points on the board and a win most importantly. 

Puneri Paltan vs Bengal Warriors: Puneri register third win on trot

Once again, just like the first match, the team trailing in the last raid did not play it smart and or it could be said that the team leading played it smart as they had three points lead in the last raid of the opponent and gave away one point to make sure that they win the game by two points. So at the end of 20 minutes, it is Fazel Atrachali’s Puneri Paltan who have beaten Maninder Singh’s Bengal Warriors 27-25 to move up in the points table. This is Puneri’s third win on a trot 

U Mumba vs Haryana Steelers: Steelers choke again 

Once again, Haryana Steelers have choked at the end and have lost the game by one point. Coach Manpreet Singh is just devastated as in the entire game, Haryana kept coming back. In the last raid, which was of U Mumba, Haryana let the raider complete 30 seconds in their half, which was a wrong tactic and as a result, Haryana got only one point, but the time ended and Mumbai won the game by 32-31 and thereby moved up the points table.
