PKL 2022 LIVE Highlights
The Kabaddi fans of Pune who have been up and about so far, cheering their team and all other teams in the competition had a gala tonight as well. There were three mouth-watering clashes waiting for them at the Shiv Chattrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi.
In the first match tonight, Gujarat Giants and Bengal Warriors went against each other. The second match was a bottom-of-the-table clash between the southern neighbours Tamil Thalaivas and Telugu Titans. And in the last match of the night, it was a tussle between the producers of most of the Kabaddi heroes in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
Gujarat Giants vs Bengal Warriors: Smart win for Bengal
A game that see-sawed a lot in the entire 40 minutes, has finally been won by the Bengal Warriors thanks to their smart play. They were once down to only a two-point lead with five minutes to go, however, they maintained their lead and eventually won the game 45-40 to go to the sixth position in the points table.
Tamil Thalaivas vs Telugu Titans: Ajinkya Pawar special
To be able to believe it, you must see it. It would be perplexing to read that Ajinkya Pawar was tackled and then when all the opposition players were on him, he slid out from the back and got over the line and got six of the opposition members out. At that moment, the game was even stevens and the Titans were looking to pull in an all-out and get on top of the game. But this raid changed it all.
Haryana Steelers vs UP Yoddhas: Ends in a tie
Haryana were way behind at the start of the second half. But then they came back and came back really well as they have tied the game now at 35 each. They seemed to have almost won it on the last raid of the UP Yoddhas when Surender Gill was tackled on a do-or-die raid, but it turned out to be one point to each team and thus the game finished in a tie.
