, managing director, Reebok India, is not a compulsive gadget buyer. A day without gadgets, he feels, would take him to the gym for a strenuous workout. And for him too the iPod remains his all-time favourite gadget

Can you unwind with the help of gadgets?

Since I am a music buff, there is nothing that helps me relax better than my iPod. I treasure my personal collection of ghazals and songs by K L Saigal and Jagjit Singh tops the playlist.

How often do you change your gadgets?

I do not change gadgets frequently. Instead, I believe in choosing carefully and sticking to them. My allergy to ambiguity is high and I use my favourite gadgets for three years at least.

What's the next gadget on your must-buy list?

The iPhone, as I believe it, can make communication simpler and quicker. It's a revolutionary mobile phone that automatically syncs all your contacts, be it from a computer, Mac, or Internet service. Also, it lets you select and listen to voice mail messages in whatever order you want "" just like email.

Which one of your gadgets was a complete waste of money?

I try not to make mistakes when it comes to gadgets, especially expensive ones. That's why I pick new gadgets only when I have quantified the benefits with respect to the cost.

Any gadget that you regret not buying when the time was right?

I should have bought the iPod earlier. Today, I have around three iPods but they are indulgences in which I should have invested earlier.

Name one gadget that you haven't yet mastered.

I own a BlackBerry Pearl and I still haven't been able to master it. The phone has so many applications bundled into it that I don't use regularly. But these applications could be very useful if one gets to learn them. I am still exploring.
