The Switzerland government has approached Global Network to synergise the hardware expertise of Switzerland with the software prowess of India.
"The objective behind the initiative is achieving growth together in both the markets instead of competing with each other. The IT small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Switzerland carry an expertise in hardware but these firms are unable to stand against their Indian counterparts on the software front. The IT clusters of these SMEs now intend to join hands with Indian IT companies to bring together the best out of both," said Jagat Shah, chief executive officer of Global Network.
On its part, Global Network will help strategise the cluster-twining process. The clusters are likely to form a joint venture company with the help of the firm which will be funded by both the countries.
"We will be partnering with National Association for Sotware and Services Companies (NASSCOM) in forming this joint venture company between these clusters," added Shah.
