Bharti Airtel today announced the launch of products for its customers of Uttar Pradesh (East circle) in Lucknow. This includes the new service by called 'Airtel SongCatcher', India's first instant music on mobile. For the benefit of its prepaid customers in the area, the company also launched the "Rs 149 tariff Voucher" and "Rs 799 Recharge Coupon". |
Under the 'SongCatcher' service, an Airtel mobile customer can listen to a song anytime and if he wants to make it as a Hello Tune, he can download the same in a matter of seconds. |

This service completely transforms the way mobile users can download songs of their choice. After hearing his favourite song, the customer needs to dial a number and is required to hold the phone near the speaker. The voice recognition software matches with songs available on the Airtel Hello Tune database. Within 30 seconds, the Airtel customer receives a SMS confirming song details. This process is a simple three-step procedure and a download can be completed in 30 seconds. |

Airtel for the first time introduced local calls at 15 paise per minute on the Rs 149 Tariff voucher for its existing and new prepaid customers of UP East. Under the new voucher, a customer making calls on the same network, that is Airtel to Airtel (A-A) within the circle, has to pay only 15 paise per minute; while for calls made on other networks will cost 25 paise per minute and those made to a landline will cost 50 paise per minute. |

Under the Rs 799 Recharge Coupon, the customer can remain connected for one year and is free from the hurdles of recharging his mobile every month. |
