The "Madagascar" video game plays off Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2 and PCs. It offers 11 levels of amusing game play for children aged 10-14. Based on a Dreamworks movie, the player can control four of the movie's main animal characters (lion, zebra, giraffe and hippo) and several lesser ones, as they navigate through adventures in New York and Madagascar.

Each animal has powers similar to the real creature "� Alex the Lion has claws and can jump and stealth-crawl. Gloria the hippo charges and tramples, etc. A certain amount of crude cartoon humour is also evident but there's no real violence.

Tiny system, lush sound

The new Bose wave music system comes with innovative acoustic waveguide speaker technology. The system provides the characteristic lush Bose sound from a tiny system. The wave music system has no buttons and all the functions of the system are controlled by a credit card-sized infrared remote.

The CD player, digital AM/FM tuner, amplifiers and speakers are all built in. The system has a slot-load CD player which also plays MP3 formats. The system can be linked to other Bose products so you can increase the sound or play other media. The radio (with a built-in antenna) offers presets for six FM and six AM channels.
