Design and Build
With a 5-inch display and 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the phone does attract attention. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor along with 1GB of RAM. Camera and Internal Storage
The 13 MP rear camera scores well. Aided by LED flash, the camera enables you to click good pictutres even in poor light conditions. Performance in normal light is worth appreciating. We generally do not see a 5MP front camera, but this device gives you that and it should be a delight for all the selfie fans, Internal storage of 16Gb (expandable upto 32 GB via microSD) is a letdown. Considering that you have a 5 inch screen with Full HD display, it is obvious that you would want to capture videos or keep movies stored in your phone, but with less storage space, that part becomes tricky. The gadget is powered by a 2000 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 18 hours of talktime on 2G and 10 hours on 3G.
Verdict
This device seemed to score well in terms of build quality and performance. We did not experience any lags. Image quality and screen resolution did not disappoint either. But at Rs 22,599, it might be difficult for it to make it big in the smartphone market. Competitors such as Micromax offer similar features in Canvas Turbo at a lower price. Also, established brands like LG and Samsung have come out with good devices in the sub Rs 20,000 range, which has make the competion even more stiff.
