Battle lines drawn for Brains@ war

Cash rewards and much more in store for talented techies

With the run up to Brains@ war hotting up, US Technology is able to garner close to 10,000 registrations from engineering and MCA colleges from across the state.
 
The highest number of registrations for Brains@ war is from MACE, Kothamangalam (592). The first two rounds of the contest will be completed by the end of May, US Technology officials told Business Standard.
 
The talent search is aimed at equipping promising students to scale the corporate ladder, the company top brass said. Brains@war will have three rounds. The first two rounds will be conducted for all colleges in Kerala, and the grand finale will be held on the Technopark campus.
 
Brains@war would cover all the engineering and MCA colleges in the state. The talent search will identify problem-solving and programming abilities through competitions and tests. The top 100 students will be mentored by eminent personalities from the industry apart from being awarded cash prizes.
 
According to Murali Gopalan, senior vice president, US Technology Resources, "Brains@ war is much more than a talent search contest. We believe that it would shape up the careers of many a student yearning for a high-flying career in the information technology arena. We are extremely excited about Brains@ war and believe that it would go a long way in realising our mission of transforming lives".
 
Arun Narayanan, senior vice president "� global delivery, US Technology Resources, said that Brains@ war is designed to bring the best out of the participants and to set them on a journey of excellence.
 
Added G S Krishnamurthy, director, Chennai operations: "This talent search intends to show the road towards a career which is very promising, its just not words but a big opportunity to bring out the real expertise in the students, so they could gear up for growth!"
 
The battle lines are drawn. With the curtains going up to find the most talented youngster, Brains@ war will formally begin the quest for the techie of tomorrow.
