Taking forward the tariff war in the telecom sector, Bharti Airtel, today introduced its Lifetime Prepaid offer at a lower price point of Rs 99.
Under the new Lifetime Prepaid, the customer can stay mobile by paying just Rs 99 and recharging with a minimum of Rs 200 every 180 days to continue enjoying lifetime validity benefits.
Lifetime Prepaid 99 is available to all existing as well as new Airtel mobile users with effect from today.
This offer come close on the heels of Reliance Communications’ recent GSM offering, which offered life time prepaid scheme at Rs 25 (including the SIM card).
Commenting on the new offer Sanjay Gupta, Chief Marketing Officer, Mobile Services, Bharti Airtel said: “The lower pricepoint of Rs 99 will enable a large number of uninitiated rural consumers to go mobile and enhance their lives."
