Bharti Airtel Q2 consolidated net, as per Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), for the quarter ended September 2007 soared 87% to Rs 1,643.76 crore as against Rs 878.84 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.According to a release issued by Bharti to the BSE today, the company's total income for Q2FY08 increased 46.4% to Rs 6,386.73 crore from Rs 4,363.03 crore in Q2FY07.On a standalone basis, Bharti's second quarter net profit rose 82% to Rs 1,619.15 crore when compared with Rs 888.35 crore in the same quarter previous year. Total revenue was up 45% at Rs 6,118.53 crore from Rs 4,212.98 crore.
