D-Link India and the Taiwan-based Gigabyte Tecbnology Company today announced the formation of a joint venture Gigabyte Technology India.According to a release issued by D-Link to the BSE today, the new firm will launch Gigabyte's complete range of products including laptops, LCD monitors, keyboard, mouse, servers, USB flash drives, thin clients in India in addition to motherboards, graphic cards and optical disk drives.D-Link will hold a majority stake in Gigabyte Technology (India), and will continue to manufacture the Gigabyte motherboards for the Indian market.K.R. Naik, CMD of D-Link India, said: "Gigabyte products incorporate the world's latest technology, and have become synonymous with quality and reliability in major markets. The new initiative is in line with our endeavour to provide Indian customers the best they can get in the IT hardware segment."
