Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), recently conducted its first ever online entrance examination for admission to its M.Sc.(IT) and M.Sc.(ICT in Agriculture and Rural Development) programmes at Reliance World, the nationwide chain of retail outlets managed by Reliance Webstore Limited (a Reliance ADAG company). Darayus Mehta, vice president and head—video conferencing & Corporate Sales, Reliance Webstore Ltd., said, "Reliance World has a robust and proven online assessment engine that provides a unique platform for institutions to conduct online examinations in a controlled environment. Several organisations have been using our OLA service to evaluate potential candidates for jobs and conduct post-training assessment. Given Reliance World’s pan India presence, this translates into a win-win for the organisation as well as the test takers. Reliance World's Online Testing or Online Assessment (OLA) service is a quick, efficient and cost-effective way of filtering/assessing a large number of candidates simultaneously. Up to 10000 candidates can be assessed in a single day at the stores."
